Fit Review: Hot Like Agni Tights, Back To It Crew, Hot Like Agni Br

by Cristina

Hot Like Agni Bra

Hot Like Agni Tights, Back To It Crew

I’m a little bit heart broken about the Hot Like Agni Tights since I really liked them on (minus the giant patch of bare leg in the back) but they needed to be petite sizing for the leg detailing to look nice on me. The prettiest detailing on these pants are the light amount of mesh on the front of the shin and the dark cuff, but that completely gets lost in excess fabric when you are a short 5’4″ like me.

Here you can see the cute detailing.

I don’t even mind so much the side mesh but the rear mesh is way too exposed for me. The amount of  mesh in the back along with the excess material bunching at my lower leg looked really silly.

You can see how much excess there is here that I had to rearrange in order to get a smooth look on the back of the leg.

The crew neck is really nice and soft. If you are on the look out for a simple pullover, this one is great. I really liked it in this color.

Hot Like Agni Bra

This bra has virtually no support in it at all, which makes it very comfortable and soft to wear but without any support, if you are larger than a perky C cup you are going to get sagging and a lot of movement. I don’t know why they didn’t use the more supportive reinforced band like the Energy Bras have – this bra certainly has enough coverage in the front for a larger bust, it’s just really lacking in any structure or support. I did love the colors and the embossed print so if there is a tank in this material I would definitely consider it.

These photos are thanks to Ms. K from her store.

$138 is actually not that bad for a good vest, especially when you compare it to other brands. For LLL vests of the PAST they were worth this price. However, the above iteration, regardless of fill, is so not worth $138. It is generic and boring. I'm so glad I have two solid vests and a pullover from the past that I can continue to ignore their offerings like this.

Pretty sure those pants are made out of a cotton area rug I purchased at Pier One Imports in 1988. Pretty sure.

Thanks so much for the sports bra review and your reviews in general. I like the simple cut of the bra but I can also get a very similar lounge bra at the $20 range.

Lulumum – did you find the Agni bra TTS? I want to order one to try but not sure which size to get. Frame of reference – I wear a 4 in tops but a 6 in the FTB bra. Thanks!!

You're awesome! Thanks so much for the quick reply, Lulumum, and the sizing advice! I'm going to order my TTS now. You are correct that I size up in the FTB for coverage. 🙂 I have a modest bust size but don't need to show that much skin at the gym 😉

I found it not tight in my TTS 10 which is what I take in Energy Bras and Cool Racerback Tanks.

If you size up for the F2B bra because of coverage, I think you are fine going TTS in the Agni because it's a bit higher cut and has more coverage in the front.

Thanks for the fit reviews and more information and pics of the items. I am quite interested in the HLA bra (love the simplicity) but I did not realise it is $64. Don't think I will suck up that full price! It's already hard to stomach the $10 price increase on FTB and FTBW which I have curbed my spending on tremendously. It made me take second stock of the gear I have and I really have a lot. I've always been very selective but it made me pause again.
