  1. Anybody know which shoes those are in the first 2 pics? I'm in the market for a new pair and like that pop of pink!

    1. They are the brand "newtons". Not sure which style.

  2. Is it the lighting or is there a solid stripe down the leg of the run the world tights?

    1. I noticed that too. It looks like there's a solid vertical stripe leading into the zipper AND a solid horizontal stripe that wraps around that same lower leg. And then zipper only on the right leg. I feel like Lulu needs a better editor - someone to tell them they need to take those extra 3 pieces of jewelry off before they leave the house, you know?

    2. I just added a 3rd picture that shows the color blocking.

      lol on the editor idea.

    3. It might be tolerable if they could at least improve their quality control to the point where the stripes on the butt align. The last several pairs of striped pants have been a crapshoot/more unaligned than not, and it looks like the upcoming styles will be just as bad. Who wants $100 pants that don't even match up?

    4. Agreed! They need some serious editing!

I tried on those pants in store today. No only was I not wild about the weird color blocking (at least make it uniform on both sides), but I didn't like the reflective fabric they put next to the zipper. The cyber stripe fabric is kind of thick IMO, so I'm skeptical someone would want to run in these. Maybe because I live in California, so it would be too hot for me, even in winter, to run in these? Maybe it's fine in other places? Anyway, the reflective part seems unnecessary for warm pants, and made the zipper seem huge! The white cyper stripe w/ coral zipper is way cuter.

Such a bummer!!! I loved the zipper idea. I was completely ready to buy these. I ended up getting the High Times in this print (no zipper) instead. The stripes did match up on those.

    5. Yes, that colour blocking is weird and does not look good at all, totally ruins the pants, in my opinion. Definite pass for me.

  3. Tried the Run The World 7/8 Tight on in the cyber stripe naval blue and in the black with butterfly (down the side leg) and heathered grey/black color block bits around the lower calves version this AM, and they were basically like full length tights on me and I'm 5'7" and think I have normal length legs (They actually looked about the same length on me as on the girl in the pics above or maybe a teensy smidge longer, but for 7/8 pants, that seems too long IMO, but that may totally be me and they should actually be that long. Of course then I think why not just get tights instead --- if it's cold enough for tights that long, wouldn't the inch or less of ankle be cold?). They were also like full length tights on one of our store's educators who happened to be trying them on too. They are lower rise than the rebel runners and the runday crops from last year as well. I would have probably brought them home with me had they been the length of either the rebel runners or the runday crops.
