Some Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Previews

As some of you may know, Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale Early Access starts tonight at midnight.  I'm super excited about this as you can probably tell from my banner ads. I shop this sale every year and have done weekend trips to Seattle with my sister for this event. The 'Early Access' is obtained when you sign up for the Nordstrom card online which you can do for immediate approval. I almost always buy something from the Anniversary Sale during the general start date and have never had early access before. This year I have a pair of shoes I really want to get and they are high sell out/never on sale type of shoes so I got my Nordstrom Card last week. It makes more sense for me this year since Nordstrom is coming to Vancouver in the fall and so I'll be able to use that card here in Canada as well - and payments are easily done online through your bank (you just set them up as a payee in US funds - I've confirmed this with TD Bank) The Anniversary Sale is when Nordstrom marks down new Fall items before they've been released so this is truly a worth it sale in my books - I got Frye Boots a few years ago for a steal.

If you are like me and like to keep a well stocked wish list you can preview some of the items that are going to hit the sale tonight. I've added a few here from the Women's Activewear but I will be sure to do a post once the sale is live with 'my picks'.

If you are ordering tonight, I'd love to hear what is on your wish list. I didn't get a catalogue to look through but I've seen some sneak peeks shared online and I have an idea of what I want.

  1. are you getting those rag and bone booties? I love them but I think they may be to high for me for every day wear. Also, hudson jeans, I typically only wear AG. We have similar body types, do you stay true to size or up or down? AG I go up in skinny versions.

    1. I did order them. They look high but I tried them on in store last week (the Harrow) and they were quite comfortable. I hope I can wear them daily.

I stay tts in Hudsons and take size 32's. I find them most comfortable in the waist where the rise isn't too low and it holds me in a bit better than other jeans.

    2. I might need the boots. I try to get a nice pair of boots every 2 years, I'm on my year to buy. I typically buy Frye, but there isn't anything I love for winter.

I'll try the hudsons in 32. I can be a 30/31/32 in AG.
