Are you like me with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and constantly browse the online catalogue even after you’ve placed your order? This Nordy’s sale is a bigger deal for me than the Lululemon warehouse sales because I get to stock up on ‘real clothes’ for fall that I haven’t seen before or anticipated since they are fall 2015 items. I save up for this event months in advance (and for Seawheeze). My husband is laughing at me because I’ve practically memorized the entire offering because I’ve been browsing it so much since Wednesday. I can’t wait for them to open up a store in Vancouver – although we probably wont get anniversary sales here. Anyways, they’ve added a lot of product since the original drop on Wednesday so I thought I’d share some more picks. At the bottom of this post I’ll share with you my order from Wednesday which has completed and shipped out. I will probably get a few more little things such as makeup from the sale but I’m heading out to Portland this coming week so I’ll get to pick them up in store since there is no sales tax there.
If you are not a Nordstrom Card holder and don’t have access to purchase during the early access phase, you can still browse online and add pieces to your wish list for July 17th when it opens up to all shoppers.
Marc New York Hooded Tunic $37 (after sale $58)
Alo ‘Verge’ Sweatpants $47 ($72 after sale)
Love this color!
The North Face ‘Gig Harbour’ Vest $79 ($108 after sale)
The North Face ‘Mossbud’ Snap Neck Pullover *Nordstrom Exclusive $62 ($85 after sale)
The North Face ‘Tonnerro’ Down Jacket $148 ($199 after sale)
As you can tell, I love these two colors from The North Face.
Hard Tail ‘Tie Dye Caprise’ $52 ($92 after sale)
These are neat! I’ve never tried Hard Tail leggings before but I like their flowey tops.
Mark New York ‘Flyaway Cardigan’ $37 ($58 after sale)
This reminds me of the Lululemon To & Flow Wrap.
Nike ‘Epic Run’ Dry-Fit Capris $52 ($88 after sale)
Hudson Jeans ‘Collin’ Ankle Skinny Camo Print $129 ($198 after sale)
I definitely want to try these on in Portland. They are calling to me.
Barbour ‘Brocklane’ Waterproof Quilted Jacket $229 ($349 after sale)
I’ve always wanted a Barbour Jacket but didn’t save enough to get one this year since I didn’t even know Nordstrom carried these jackets. I’ll definitely hope that it’s on next years sale so I can save up for it.
My purchase from the sale
Rag and Bone ‘Margot’ Bootie $349 ($525 after sale)
Hudson Jeans ‘Lydia’ $129 (after sale $198)

I'm going to get Paul Green delgado ankle boots instead of the rag and bone margots. I don't have a nordie card but I think I'm safe waiting on these. I keep going back and fourth on if I should just get the card for those lovelies.
I saw those! they have the same notch in the front as the R&B so very flattering and leg lengthening – and it's a nice leather too. There are only a few items on the sale that have sell out potential and that is the Chloe Bag, the Philip Lim Bag and possibly the R&B – based on years past. Maybe the Longchamp but they have quite a few colors in that.
Hi Lulumum, love your blog! Would you be able to tell me if Nordstroms ships to Canada, and if so do they calculate the customs and duty, etc into the total when you place your order (makes it so easy when companies do this!)? Thank you in advance!
Ok, this is great to hear! Thank you so much for the info!
Yes they do! I've ordered both ways, to a US address and with items available in Canada to my home. if you go to the very bottom of the page to 'change country' you can select Canada which will automatically display prices in Canadian. Nordstrom uses 'Borderfree' to ship items to Canada which calculates your entire shipping/duties at checkout so you know all your fees up front. My husband got me a coat at Christmas which was on sale and it ended up being way cheaper to order from Nordstrom with the duties and taxes vs buying it here in Canada.
The Nordstroms in Calgary starts their sale on the 17th
Does it? that is great news! I was wondering if the Canadian Nordstrom's also have the Anniversary Sale. The Vancouver store doesn't open till September.
So far the Calgary store has done the same sales as Nordstrom US, however there is less product variety in Canada and the prices vary here too. I would have applied for a Nordstrom card here had I known about the advance sale. I tried to apply online, but it doesn't allow for a Canadian billing address. Just sucks that our $ is so low right now.
Yes you have to be so strategic with the low dollar and price compare everything against the prices here once you do the conversion. If the R&B boots had not been on sale the price is actually cheaper in Canada at holt renfrew.
Hard Tail is cool, lulumum. They are famous for their tie dye items! My yoga wear consists of 85% lulu, 10% Hard Tail and 5% Beyond Yoga, Om Shanti, Teeki, Prana, Athleta, and a couple of Tonic and Lole.
There is a Lole store that opened up near me. I'll be sure to check it out when I'm back in town. I've tried Hard Tail and Beyond Yoga tops and really like them but they aren't readily available for try-ons so I just check it out when I'm at Nordstroms US. Athleta is the same, I can try it on when I'm in Seattle but there aren't any locally.
Love the rag and bone boots. Great purchase!
Totally choked that there are no sizes (well not MY size) left in the Hudson Camo print jeans online 🙁
Oh no! Do you have a store near you? Those are so cute.
Keep an eye on them online, I've heard they do restocks. And for sure restocks when the early access ends and he open access starts.
I checked two stores in Portland and both where sold out on day 1 of these. The SA I spoke to said they were hugely popular. I just checked online and it looks like there is a full size run with the ability to order but with delayed shipping (July 15th estimated ship out date). I may order these if I can get them shipped home.
