OT, in my Canadian store today and Ed mentioned that there is no longer a return period if the tags are still on. She said they 'encourage' 2 weeks. I asked how long this has been in place and she said a couple of months. Anyone else get this message recently?
An ed (as in educator), not Ed. LOL - hate auto correct.
Thanks. That is great to know. I wonder if they will change the return policy of the markdown items as well?
I had been told same thing about 1 1/2 months ago - I said "really" and she said yes, no return period. This was at Sherway Gardens. I then returned a pair of speed tights (tags on) from 2 months prior to the store in Square One.....and they did not have that policy. 2 weeks. So I explained what I was told, and that it is very confusing and difficult for me to not know as I live over an hour away and will have to plan trips to stay within return period. The other Ed stepped in and said, oh if it is core product there is no return period. So she said we will take your speed tights back no problem. So I still left a bit confused as I don't know what a core product is. I have to say, in the end they are very good about returns if you explain things, as I did. But I don't understand why they don't make it known? Maybe only frequent buyers will know? The products sell, and if it is a hot product it will sell fast anyway - I understand they have new stuff every week and don't want old stuff back but I believe they will still sell it - the stuff I buy tends to be the hot sellers and I know I sometimes hold out hope for something I missed out on to show up at a store or on-line, even months after the fact! AKA the wild tanks in harbour blue with Silver Fox stripe bra --- keep hoping one shows up at store or they appear on website since they sometimes carry stuff in store for a month or two and then they make a stealth appearance on website.
I think they are willing to take mark downs as well. I think its part of their we'd rather have you happy policy change. It's worth a try
Is the pink define available in Canadian stores yet?
None spotted in Canadian stores so far.
I wonder what the other color is on the jeweled magenta dancing warrior tank is? Looks like bumble berry or deepest cranberry maybe?
I wonder if they fixed the straps so they don't slide on the warrior tank. I had one last year and when I worked out in it, the once strap slid across to one side and was bunched up on one side -- looked bad - so I took it back. I think they needed to sew the top straps to the ones across the back to keep it from sliding across. It was a pretty top otherwise.
