Fit Review: New! Savasana Jacket

I went to Metrotown today to see if I could score the Black Cherry Cool Racerback (I did!) and they had this new jacket in today called the Savasana Jacket. Unfortunately, if you are like me and have the limbs of a corgi, this jacket is not for you. It comes in small and medium which usually indicates the fit is going to be quite oversized. It was. This is the medium on me and it felt huge in the chest and arms and so unflattering. If you are long and lean you will probably pull this look off beautifully but for me this was a definite pass. The price is $148.

**if you are going to metro for the Black Cherry CRB, I believe they had a size 12 and a size 8 left and that was it. It was very picked over already. I suggest calling first and putting one on hold if you can before making the trip there or calling other stores to see if they got it in. I think it may have been a select Canadian stores limited release for now.
The CRB is gorgeous but it is not overly thick. I'd say its about the same as the Red Earth CRB or Bumbleberry but not thick like Bali Breeze was. It is opaque though thankfully so definitely worth getting. The interesting thing is it is made in Indonesia while the High Times Pants in the same color (and the Deep Camo) are made in Canada.

  1. That jacket looks like a short bathrobe on you. No offence intended - it would look exactly the same on me! Definite pass.

I think I'm going to skip the CRB. I have a few already and want to slow my buying way down. I'm going to try to hold out for colours I absolutely adore. I have the HT in this shade; I don't need a matching CRB. I'm currently wearing the Almost Pear Power-Y with the Black Cherry tights; that combination is gorgeous.

    1. lol, it felt just as ugly and frumpy on as it looks.

Good call. I love the color and I 'collect' CRB's over anything else but besides the color the material isn't anything special (like a super thick CRB) so if its not *your* color than not worth going crazy trying to hunt down.

  2. They have the black cherry CRB at the WEM location in Edmonton. Looked like most of the sizes were still available! I picked one up for myself :)

  3. Black Cherry CRB is available at Toronto Eaton Centre. Most sizes available as of about 1pm. They also had the new camo-ish print wunder under pants and crops

  5. Sorry this is late....I got the black cherry crb at upper Canada mall in Newmarket (just N of the GTA) on Friday. Full size run around 5 pm Friday evening. I agree, it's not super thick or soft, but it's a colour I love. I probably won't get bottoms in the colour, so this will likely be my one piece in this colour.
